Program Description
A full-day, virtual symposium where attendees will learn how healthcare professionals are using implementation science to transform practice and outcomes. International experts in Implementation Science will present their work: Dr. Maria Fernandez, Dr. Christopher Bonafide, and Dr. Amanda Bettencourt. The theme of the symposium is "Pioneering Implementation Science: Learning From Each Other and Beyond".
Target Audience
This activity is intended for providers in all specialties. Everyone is invited to attendee.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity, learners should be able to:
- Discuss how to effectively use the science of implementation to guide EBP projects in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Combine implementation science knowledge with local practice and clinical knowledge to design an effective implementation intervention.
- Apply the process of implementation science to project evaluation and sustainability
