By the end of this presentation, participants should be able to:
- Describe how acceptance commitment therapy can help enhance the psychological well-being and parenting practices of parents with children who have chronic health conditions.
- Identify practical acceptance commitment therapy and behavioral management strategies to implement with caregivers.
- Discuss the implementation of acceptance commitment therapy and behavioral management strategies within the context of a study implementing both approaches with Spanish-speaking parents of children with a diagnosis of autism.
