Germame Ajebo, MD
Dr. Germame Ajebo is a triple-boarded physician from the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology. He obtained his medical diploma in Ethiopia from Addis Ababa University and furthered his medical education in the United States, by completing his internal medicine residency at Mercer University and fellowship in hematology/oncology at The Medical College of Georgia/Augusta University.
Throughout his training, Dr. Ajebo demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, serving as chief resident and chief fellow during his final years of residency and fellowship. His dedication and expertise were recognized when he received the prestigious Resident of the Year award in 2018 from Augusta University.
Dr. Ajebo has made significant contributions to the field of hematology/oncology through his research. He has published numerous scientific papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research findings at renowned national conferences such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH).
