Dr. Chon is a clinical reviewer at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the Thoracic, Head and Neck review team within the Division of Oncology 2 (DO2). She evaluates protocols containing biologics and/or small molecules to investigate safety and preliminary efficacy to treat patients with Thoracic, Health and Neck cancers. She also evaluates new molecular entities for marketing applications. Prior to joining FDA, Dr. Chon held positions of increasing responsibilities at large pharmaceutical companies in global clinical development, clinical operations, global regulatory affairs, and medical affairs.

She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the MCPHS University (formerly Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences) in Boston, MA and her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
