Joseph Gibbons, MD is a clinical reviewer in FDA CDER OND OOD Division of Oncology 2 on the Thoracic and Head & Neck Cancer team. Dr. Gibbons completed his medical education at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Ohio, and hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of Michigan Hospital. Prior to joining the FDA, he held several distinguished academic appointments, including Chair of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center Institutional Review Board and Fellowship Site Director at the Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland. Dr. Gibbons most recently served as an attending physician at Seidman Cancer Center (where he has held the position for over twenty years) and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.
