Fabio Facchinetti, M.D.  is Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology  at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and Director of the Residency program therein.   Since 2013, he Chair the Unit of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the University Hospital of Modena. Main research interest are Preterm Birth, Pregnancy disorders and reproduction. Author > 400 papers with an h-index of 56.

 Member of Editorial Board of J Mat Fet  Neonat Med, Gynecol Endocrinol, J. Psychosom Obstet Gynecol and BMC Pregnancy & Childbirth.  He  serve as Reviewer for several scientific journals.  

He was PI for several multicenter RCTs including Progesterone for tertiary prophylaxis of preterm birth, Inositols for GDM prophylaxis, Sumatriptan for Menstrual Migraine treatment, Relaxin and Antithrombin for Preeclampsia treatment.
