Lynn Yee, MD, MPH
Dr. Lynn Yee is the Thomas J. Watkins Memorial Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a tenured Associate Professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is also the Associate Chief of MFM for Research and the Fellowship Program Director. Dr. Yee completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco, in 2012, and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Northwestern in 2015.
Dr. Yee provides full-scope maternal-fetal medicine care, and has particular interests in diabetes and infectious diseases. She leads a large NIH-funded research program that is dedicated to addressing issues of health equity, health disparities, and health services in obstetrics and postpartum health. She has a particular interest in understanding social determinants of obstetric health outcomes and in developing and testing interventions which may improve health for communities and individuals in greatest need. She is currently the PI of several investigations examining social determinants and health promotion interventions in the context of diabetes during pregnancy. She is also the PI for Northwestern of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Units Network, the nuMoM2b Heart Health Study, and the GO MOMS study.
