Dr. Stephen Thung is a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist and Chair of the Dept of OB/GYN at Yale Bridgeport Hospital. He also serves as Vice Chair for the Dept of OB/GYN at Yale-New Haven.  He completed his undergraduate at Amherst College and his MD degree at New York University (when you had to pay for it). He completed his ob/gyn residency at NYU/Bellevue and his fellowship at Northwestern University.  He was an attending physician at Yale New Haven from 2005-2011 and was Medical Director of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program there. He moved to Columbus Ohio and spent 11 years at Ohio State University and continued to serve as Medical Director of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program, working with Drs. Landon and  Gabbe.  In Connecticut, he continues to care for a full spectrum of women who have diabetes during their pregnancies.
