I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Houston's University of Texas Health Science Center and at Sheba Medical Center, Israel. I have completed my residency in OB/GYN in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Joseph Buchman Gynecology and Maternity Center, The Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Ramat Gan, Israel. Following residency, I completed a three-year fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UTHealth. During the fellowship, I have completed a Master of Science in Clinical Research with Honors. While in fellowship, I designed, completed, and published in Am J Obstet Gynecol a comparative effectiveness randomized controlled trial investigating two types of insulin for individuals with type 2 diabetes (Ref 1).  I have also published a secondary analysis of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Units (MFMU) data in the Br J Obstet Gynaecol and Obstet Gynecol (Ref 2-3). Following fellowship, I completed an RCT evaluating two different medications for postpartum hypertension (Ref 4). This trial won the research award at SMFM 2023. I am currently a principal investigator of a funded ($890,000) multi-center randomized trial evaluating continuous glucose monitoring for diagnosing gestational diabetes (GDM) in pregnancy.

My research interests have been in pregnancy outcomes, diabetes, and hypertension disorders of pregnancy. I am currently involved in several research projects as a principal investigator and as part of a team. In addition, I have a passion for teaching and inspiring medical students, residents, and fellows to engage in clinical and research activities as part of their education.
