Inova Neurosciences and The Center for BrainHealth at The University of Texas at Dallas have joined together to present a comprehensive overview of the emerging field- of enhancing brain health. This program is designed to provide evidence-based practices to address neurocognitive disorders and healthy aging of the brain, while exploring nutrition, Alzheimer’s, the neuroscience behind innovation and novelty, and education of patients on lifestyle changes and interventions.

The 2nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Neurocritical Care Symposium will bring together experts from Inova, The University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, ChristianaCare, MedStar Health, The University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University and beyond to discuss the basics of caring for critically ill neurological patients, as well as highlight recent innovations in the field.
The conference will occur over two days at the Inova Center for Personalized Health Conference Center in Fairfax, VA. Day One will offer a comprehensive review of the essentials of neurocritical care and basics of secondary injury with a special focus on board-relevant material. Day Two will transition to advances and controversies in neurocritical care innovations through case discussions. The Symposium will welcome two keynote addresses.
