As women enter mid-life and approach menopause, they can experience a unique set of symptoms that can impact their quality of life. The goal of this conference is to help providers navigate this period of transition with their patients, always through a lens of diversity with attention to social determinants of health. All speakers are leaders in various areas of women’s health and will address common concerns that patients and providers share regarding this complex and often misunderstood time. Conference attendees will gain insight in counseling and managing perimenopausal and menopausal symptom. Topics reviewed will be genitourinary symptoms of menopause, hormone changes during the transition, hormone replacement and cancer risk, and cardiometabolic health.
