Erica Epstein, Psy.D.

Erica Epstein, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist who received her psychology doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology and additional training emphasis in Rehabilitation/Health Psychology. Her education and training were obtained at the University of Central Florida, Albizu University, the Miami and Salisbury Veteran Affairs hospitals, and the University of Miami. Dr. Epstein currently works in inpatient rehabilitation and has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She provides both psychological intervention and neuropsychological assessment to patients with a range of conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, functional neurological disorder, dementia, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, post-stroke depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress/acute stress, and adjustment. She is skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), person centered therapy (humanistic), motivational interviewing (MI), substance abuse therapy, family systems, mindfulness-based interventions, trauma therapies, cognitive assessment, and capacity evaluations. Her research focus has been in post-traumatic stress in veterans, traumatic brain injury, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and neuropathological involvement in depression.
