Course Description:
This ECMO Wet Lab Series is a skills‑focused educational activity designed to provide hands‑on, repetitive practice of core ECMO technical tasks in a controlled learning environment. Each 1‑hour session emphasizes ECMO circuit handling, equipment management, and standardized technical workflows without the use of full crisis simulation scenarios. Sessions are delivered multiple times per month to accommodate clinical schedules and address limited time availability. This activity complements simulation‑based education by focusing on technical proficiency, accuracy, and equipment familiarity necessary for safe ECMO care.
