Spotting the Signs: Understanding Skin Cancer


Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this educational presentation, the participant will be able to- 

1. Identify the different types of skin cancer (e.g., basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma) and their key clinical features.

2. Understand the importance of early detection and the role of regular skin exams in identifying potential skin cancer.

3. Discuss current treatment options for skin cancer, including surgical excision, Mohs surgery, radiation therapy, and emerging therapies like immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
