What is Optimal Sagittal Alignment and How do We Achieve it During Reconstructive Spine Surgery?


Learning objectives:
• To present data on what normative sagittal alignment is based on volunteer imaging results
• To describe the most important and clinically relevant radiographic measures of sagittal alignment and how to use them to optimize preoperative planning and surgical outcomes.
• To discuss various spinal osteotomies and correction techniques used intraoperatively to optimize sagittal alignment during surgical reconstructions.
