Series Description

1. The purpose of our Plastic Surgery and reconstructive meetings are in discussion of current technical methods for Plastic Surgery on cancer, reconstructive, Trauma and Cosmetic patients the purpose of these meetings and teaching conferences are to include students residence in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, as well as attending‘s to enhance practice-based medicine and improving, lifelong learning skills for all participants.
2. The Plastic Surgery section series is a forum to enhance current peer reviewed literature relevant to the advancement of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
3. In addition, case-based discussions with PowerPoint, slide presentations and radiographic imaging is presented to assist in adequately, understanding the reconstructive pathway, and the challenges associated with it, including complications.

The Medical Society of Virginia is a member of the Southern States CME Collaborative, an ACCME Recognized Accreditor. Inova Health System Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Southern States CME Collaborative to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Physicians may claim up to 2.0 credits in Type 1 CME on the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for renewal of an active medical license in Virginia.
