- Be able to accurately describe eye misalignments and nystagmus

- Be familiar with common causes of pediatric esotropia, exotropia, and hypertropia

- Be familiar with common causes of pediatric nystagmus

- Be able to describe when an urgent referral to ophthalmology or neurology is needed
