Series Description
This monthly meeting provides an update on current literature featuring a clinical topic in Psychiatry. The topic and paper to be discussed is sent to all attendees at least a week prior to the meeting held at Noon on the third Wednesday of the month and the presenter goes over the paper generally with a power point presentation to summarize the article and show the data. Presenters are either faculty members, attending physicians who also teach, and residents. All articles to be presented are from peer reviewed journals and focus upon Psychiatric topics. The goals of the presentation are also previewed when the actual article(s) are sent.

The Inova Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) ™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Physicians may claim up to 1.0 credits in Type 1 CME on the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for renewal of an active medical license in Virginia.
