Kristen Johnson, M.D., M.S., received her B.A., in political science and philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed medical school and pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD where she also served as chief pediatric resident. Dr. Johnson is board certified in pediatric medicine and a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She serves as a Hospitalist at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC and is an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University. Her clinical and research interests include diagnostic and statistical reasoning, patient-doctor communication and social determinants of health.
