Miriam Bloom, Pediatric Hospital Medicine Children’s National Hospital; Associate Professor of Pediatrics, George Washington School of Medicine
Dr Miriam Bloom graduated from Johns Hopkins University and then attended Northwestern University
Medical School. She completed pediatric residency and a year as chief resident at Cincinnati Children's
Hospital. Dr Bloom began her career providing care for children with medical complexity at Children's
Hospital of Pittsburgh Diagnostic Referral Service. She currently works in the Pediatric Hospital
Medicine division at Children’s National Medical center, Washington DC. Her professional focus is
improving the care of children with medical complexity thru care coordination, medical optimization,
continuity of care and advocacy.
