Liza Lindenberg, MD

Dr Lindenberg is a Senior Research Physician and chief of Nuclear Medicine for the Molecular Imaging Branch at the Center for Cancer Research, National Cancer Institute, NIH, Bethesda, MD. She oversees PET imaging mainly in oncology clinical trials for the group and is interested in novel radiotracers as biomarkers for diagnosis, treatment monitoring and therapy. Board certified in Nuclear Medicine and Family Medicine, she served as a US Army physician for many years before joining the Commissioned Corps of the US Public Health Service and the Molecular Imaging Branch under the direction of Dr Peter Choyke in 2010. She is active in the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and on the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
