Dr.Anil Regmi is a transplant nephrologist and Medical Director of the abdominal Transplant Program at Inova Fairfax Medical campus; Falls Church Virginia. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY an affiliate of Weil Medical College of Cornell University. He received his fellowship training in general Nephrology at University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Transplant Nephrology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He was an assistant professor of Clinical Medicine at Louisiana State University at Shreveport prior to joining fellowship.

Dr Regmi is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is a Fellow of American Society of Nephrology (FASN). He is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology and American Society of Transplantation.
Dr Regmi joins Inova Medical Group with over 20 years of clinical experience.
He has served as a Transplant Nephrologist in different institute. He is also an assistant professor of Medicine at GW Medical School, Wasington DC. His areas of interest are pre-transplant evaluations, post kidney transplantation care, newer immunosuppression, post- transplantation hypertension and glomerulonephritis. His goal is to help ESRD patients to be listed in the waiting list earliest possible and improve graft and patient survival outcomes in kidney transplant recipients.
