Dr. Amy Li Safadi is a specialty care physician board certified in neurology at Inova Health System. She completed medical school at Stanford University School of Medicine and neurology residency at MedStar Georgetown-NIH Neurology Residency Program. She completed her fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital as the recipient of the MS Clinical Care Physician Fellowship Grant Award through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Dr. Safadi specializes in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, neuromyelitis optica, myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody disease, neurosarcoidosis, neurologic complications of rheumatologic diseases, autoimmune/paraneoplastic disorders, and other neuroimmunological/neuroinflammatory conditions. She believes that each patient deserves an individualized and personalized approach in diagnostic and treatment plans, especially when it comes to complex neuroimmunological disorders. She strives to work collaboratively with patients to help them achieve their best quality of life with evidence-based therapies.
