Dr. Amy Safadi is a specialty care physician board-certified in Neurology at Inova Health System. She completed medical school at Stanford University School of Medicine and Neurology residency at MedStar Georgetown-NIH Neurology Residency Program. She completed her fellowship training in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and was the recipient of the national MS Clinical Care Physician Fellowship Grant Award through the National MS Society. Dr. Safadi specializes in the treatment of multiple sclerosis and manages a wide range of neuroimmunological conditions, including neuromyelitis optica, MOG antibody disease, neurosarcoidosis, neurologic complications of rheumatologic disorders, neurological complications of immune checkpoint inhibitors, and transverse myelitis. She is active in national and international conferences related to multiple sclerosis and is involved with clinical trials and research at the Inova Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center.
