Dr. Emmi Scott is a clinical neuropsychologist with specialty training in neurodegenerative diseases, particularly memory disorders and movement disorders. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the Neurology department at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC, where she eventually became faculty before moving to northern Virginia and joining Inova in 2024. At Inova, she started a clinic for individuals with functional neurological disorders (FND) and recently launched a more specialized interdisciplinary diagnostic and treatment clinic for functional movement disorders. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Scott conducts research focused on developing outcome measures for FND.
