Keith Lamb, RRT, RRT-ACCS, FAARC, FCCM
Keith is a Respiratory Therapist and has been a critical care specialist for 27 years. His primary interests lie within the area of respiratory critical care, particularly as it pertains to current research and practice regarding the progressive management and support of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and other elements of respiratory failure. Keith has interests in the management of these patients using lung protective strategies, and other progressive interventions including extracorporeal life support. Other interests include chest trauma, ICU sedation and airway management. In addition to the practice of respiratory care, Keith is dedicated to sharing his experience and knowledge of respiratory critical care to other practitioners and students. He has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally in 6 countries on numerous respiratory critical care topics. Keith has also written and reviewed textbook chapters, written and peer-reviewed hundreds of articles and has served as an expert witness. Keith has held positions as staff respiratory therapist, clinical team leader, clinical specialist, research coordinator, ECMO Coordinator and ECMO Director.
