Geovanny Perez, MD, MSc
Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University at Buffalo. Currently serving as the Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology and Medical Director of the Lung Center at Oishei Children’s Hospital, Dr. Perez has extensive expertise in managing complex respiratory conditions in children. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Ecuador and completed a Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship at Children's National Health System/George Washington University. His research interests include bronchopulmonary dysplasia, severe asthma, and sleep disorders in children, with a focus on improving respiratory outcomes in medically complex pediatric patients. Dr. Perez is actively involved in clinical innovation and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing pediatric respiratory care and has been recognized with multiple awards, including Buffalo’s Top Doctors accolade. He continues to be a leading voice in pediatric pulmonary research, contributing to numerous national and international conferences and publications.
