Alexander Andrews, MD
Alexander Andrews, MD, is an attending Child Neurologist and Epilepsy specialist at Children's National Hospital. He completed his medical training at the University of Michigan and is an alumnus of the Children's National Neurology Residency as well as the combined Epilepsy Fellowship with The George Washington University Hospital. From 2019, Dr. Andrews has provided electroencephalogram (EEG) interpretation and virtual consultation for children admitted to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi. He travels to Blantyre regularly as well, where he works alongside clinicians in the Blantyre Malaria Project. His role on the project is to organize EEG research efforts and to work on expanding EEG access where it is needed.
