Priti Bhansali, Priti Bhansali MD MEd
Priti Bhansali, M.D. MEd, is the associate program director for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship and director of the Children's Academy of Pediatric Educators at Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC. Dr. Bhansali has a particular interest in scholarship development for fellows and faculty, and holds multiple faculty development leadership roles at the local and national level. Dr. Bhansali is also an affiliate faculty member for the Child Health Advocacy Institute at Children’s National, and her clinical areas of interest include implementing practices to address health literacy and other social determinants of health and promoting safe transitions for patients at the time of hospital discharge. Dr. Bhansali completed her undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania and medical school at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Bhansali completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at the University of Connecticut and began her career in pediatric hospital medicine at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center from 2006-2009, where she was also the associate residency program director. She earned her master's in education from George Washington University and is currently pursuing her MBA.
