Mark Molitch, MD

Mark E. Molitch, M.D. is Professor Emeritus in the Division of Endocrinology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. His research has focused on the pathogenesis and treatment of pituitary tumors and the effects of such tumors on pregnancy. He has been a member of committees that wrote Guidelines for the evaluation and treatment of Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency, of Pituitary Incidentalomas and of Acromegaly of The Endocrine Society and of Prolactinomas of The Pituitary Society. Dr. Molitch has authored more than 500 original papers, review articles, book chapters, case reports and other publications. He was President of The Pituitary Society 2012-2013, was the 2013 recipient of the Distinguished Educator Award of The Endocrine Society and the 2020 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award of The Pituitary Society.
