Dr. Araba Jackson is a urogynecologist board certified in obstetrics and gynecology at Inova. She joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2016.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Jackson was a fellow in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa.

Dr. Jackson is a graduate of Inova Fairfax Hospital’s OB-GYN residency and earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University.. She is an experienced minimally invasive surgeon and treats urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, obstetric trauma and abnormalities of the urogenital tract. Dr. Jackson’s clinical areas of interest include advanced treatments for stress urinary incontinence and overactive bladder. Her research focuses on techniques to improve the patient experience in the healthcare setting.

Dr. Jackson chose to become a urogynecologist to restore her patients’ quality of life. She is passionate about patient-centered care and strives to develop individualized care plans to meet her patients’ needs. She is fluent in three languages: English, Spanish, and Fante (Ghana).

Outside the office, Dr. Jackson enjoys international travel and spending time with her family.
