Nicholas Gastaldo, DO is the 2023-2024 Bariatric Surgery Fellow at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. He grew up in central Ohio and attended Ohio State University and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was a general surgery resident from 2018-2023 at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where he was resident teacher of the year in 2021-2022 and chief resident in 2022-2023. His research interests include patient outcomes and perioperative care pathways. In his spare time he enjoys watching Cleveland sports, cooking Italian food and exploring local parks with his wife, son, and dog.
