Tomeka Brown-Rolle is the Clinical Nurse Educator for Family Centered Care – Postpartum at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. She supports the growth and development of FCC team members by integrating theoretical knowledge, evidence-based principles, and clinical nursing expertise into educational experiences. She graduated from Valencia College with an ASN in 2006, followed by a BSN from the University of Central Florida in 2009.  Her specialty and passion has been Maternal - Newborn Nursing since the start of her nursing career in 2006. Throughout Tomeka’s nursing career, she has held a variety of RN roles in direct patient care. After obtaining an MSN from George Mason University in 2016, she led as a Clinical Instructor for various institutions in the Northern Virginia area and became the Director of Clinical Operations at George Mason University.  Tomeka’s clinical and academic experiences have allowed for continued growth as she looks forward to where nursing will lead her next.
