Emily Hegamyer completed her medical degree at Rutgers University - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed both her general pediatric internship and residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC, after which she completed a three year fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, DE.
