Zubeda Sheikh, MBBS, MD, MSCTS, FACNS
Dr. Sheikh is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Virginia Commonwealth University where she also serves as the Epilepsy Fellowship Program Director and the Medical Director of Adult Neurophysiology Services.
Dr. Sheikh trained in clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy and critical care EEG at Yale University. She is board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy and critical care EEG. Her academic focus has been critical care EEG and trainee education. She has published several papers in the area of critical care EEG and won local and national awards for trainee education. She is a member of the critical care EEG monitoring research consortium and of the medical and scientific advisory board of NORSE institute. She holds leadership roles within national organizations such as the ACNS (American Clinical Neurophysiology Society), and ABRET (American Board of Registration of EEG and Evoked Potential technologists).
