Leandra Godoy, PhD
Leandra Godoy, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s National Hospital (CNH) and The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Godoy is Co-Director of the Early Childhood Behavioral Health Program within the Division of Psychology & Behavioral Health. She serves as a Program Manager within the Child Health Advocacy Institute's Community Mental Health CORE (Collaboration-Outreach-Research-Equity) team, where she oversees community mental health-primary care integration activities and community autism activities.
Dr. Godoy graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in psychology and a minor in child development. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston after completing her pre-doctoral internship in child clinical psychology at Brown University and a post-doctoral fellowship at CNH. Dr. Godoy’s clinical and research interests include early childhood mental health, mental health integration in pediatric primary care, and health equity.
