Daniel Yeh, MD, MHPE, FACS, FCCM, FASPEN, CNSC
Dr. Daniel Dante Yeh MD, MHPE, FACS, FCCM, FASPEN, CNSC is a Professor of Surgery at University of Colorado School of Medicine and an actively practicing acute care surgeon at Denver Health Medical Center. Dr. Yeh is the founder and leader of the Surgical Nutrition service at Denver Health and maintains a busy clinical practice managing patients with short bowel syndrome, enterocutaneous fistulas, and intestinal failure. He is the Physician Certifee Director of the National Board of Nutrition Support Clinicians (NBNSC) Board of Directors, chair of the Item Writing Committee of the Certification Examination for Nutrition Support Clinicians(CNSC) Exam, and the chair of the Critical Care Section of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). Dr. Yeh has authored 20 book chapters and over 150 peer-reviewed journal publications, including several on the topic of enterocutaneous fistula management. He has given multiple invited lectures at ASPEN Clinical Nutrition Week, American College of Surgeons, and international nutrition conferences on the topics of EC fistula management, indirect calorimetry, critical care nutrition, and enteral/parenteral nutrition.
