Lonnie Fontana has been a PA with the Inova Wound healing centers and Hyperbaric units since 2002. She has been a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) since 2003, a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) since 2009, and a Hyperbaric safety coordinator since 2016. The first part of her career was as a PA in surgery, which includes having worked at Anderson Orthopedic Clinic, Suburban Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Beth Israel Medical Center. She is a 1985 graduate of the New York Hospital -Cornell University Medical Center  Physician Assistant program.
