Title: Acceptance for What We Can't Accept: ACT for Perinatal Grief and Loss
Biography:
Hannah earned her Psy.D. from Pacific University’s School of Graduate Psychology and completed her predoctoral internship at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she treated children with medical and behavioral concerns and their caregivers.
Hannah has completed advanced training in perinatal mental health and is a certified perinatal mental health provider. During her one-year postdoctoral fellowship here at Children’s National Hospital, Hannah offers therapy and assessment to new and expectant caregivers and their infants across several of the hospital’s clinics. Hannah provides individual and group therapy services in the DC Mother-Baby Wellness Program, Prenatal Pediatrics Institute, NICU, and CICU. In these settings, she supports caregivers who are coping with complex fetal medical diagnoses, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and infant-caregiver attachment and bonding concerns. Hannah is also involved in program development projects aimed at expanding the provision of perinatal mental health services in the hospital.
After finishing fellowship, she will be moving back to her home state of Oregon. She has accepted a Perinatal Psychologist faculty position at OHSU in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She will also be starting a private practice, Dugoni Behavioral Health, where she will provide care for perinatal individuals as well as young children with behavioral concerns and their caregivers.
