Dr. Libre received his undergraduate degree in history at Dartmouth College and then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Michigan. He has been on staff at Inova Fairfax Hospital since 1997. He is an Associate Professor of Medical Education at UVA. He was the Chief of the Inova Fairfax Critical Care Section from 2006-2010 and has been the Chief of the Pulmonary Section since 2011. He is actively involved in student and housestaff education. His clinical interests include Interstitial lung disease and Severe Asthma.
