Anne Melzer, MD, MS.

Anne Melzer MD, MS is a pulmonary and critical care physician and health services researcher. She recieved her bacherlor's degree from Columbia University before attending medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed residency and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Washington, where she obtained her Masters of Epidemiology at the School of Public Health. She then joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota and the Minneapolis VA Health Care system, where she is the medical director of Early Lung Cancer Detection Programs. Her research focuses on improving the quality of lung cancer screening and increasing smoking cessation for patients with chronic lung diseases and who are at high risk of lung cancer.
