Mary Looby has served as a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist in the CVICU at Inova Schar Heart and Vascular for the past 12 years. She completed her PGY1 and PGY2 critical care residency at the Medical University of South Carolina before coming to Inova. Mary has a special interest in all matters of anticoagulation, inpatient and outpatient, and has spent much of the last 12 years developing anticoagulation protocols, policies, clinical services, and research with the provider teams she works with. In her spare time Mary enjoys running with her two goldendoodles and cooking delicious food.
