Iyad Isseh is an Advanced Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Support, and Transplant Cardiologist at Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Institute. He completed his training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He is interested in mechanical circulatory support and serves as the Associate Medical Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support. His other interests include Cardiogenic Shock serving as faculty member in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit; and medical education serving as Heart Failure core faculty in the Cardiology Fellowship and Assistant Professor of Medical Education at University of Virginia School of Medicine.
