Melinda has served as a Medical Reference Librarian at InovaHealth Sciences Library for the past 16 years. She develops in-person and online training on scholarly databases, evidence-based medicine, bibliographic management, statistics resources, scholarly activities, research support, and other customer-focused library and information topics for healthcare professionals. She also provides information-related educational and scholarly activity support to medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers. Melinda is actively involved in interdepartmental, system-wide, and community outreach committees, providing support in all areas of education, research, and knowledge-based health information
