Dr. Sameh Saleh is a board-certified internal medicine physician and clinical informaticist who serves as the Associate Chief Health Informatics Officer at Inova Health System. He leads initiatives that apply artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and clinical decision support to improve care quality, clinician efficiency, and patient safety.

Dr. Saleh holds a Master’s in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Pennsylvania and is board certified in Clinical Informatics by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He has overseen the implementation of health system-wide AI tools, EHR training and optimization programs, and innovative documentation tools.

He has published over 25 peer-reviewed articles in journals including BMJ, JAMIA, and JAMA Network Open, and his work has earned national recognition. Dr. Saleh is also a frequent speaker at AMIA, Epic XGM, and KLAS, and serves on the editorial board of JAMIA.
