Senior Director, Virtual Care

Ilona Edwards is Senior Director of Virtual Care at Inova Health System where she has spent the majority of her 39-year nursing career in a variety of roles.  With a background as a NICU nurse, informaticist and clinical documentation builder, Ilona brings a unique, data-driven perspective to improving care delivery and outcomes.  She is passionate about usability and reducing burden on the frontline teams, leading the future of virtual nursing at Inova.
