Director of Clinical Pathway Program

Susan Bennett Smith, PhD, RN, NE-BC, is a healthcare leader currently serving as Director of the Pathway Program at Inova. In this role, she focuses on optimizing patient care by enhancing clinical workflows and streamlining care across the enterprise through AgileMD: an interactive clinical decision support platform embedded within Epic workflows. She brings deep expertise in quality improvement, population health, value-based care, and practice transformation, with extensive leadership experience across the Inova Health System.
