Stephenie Scully, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and Medical Director for Outpatient and Integrated Behavioral Health at Inova. She provides outpatient psychiatric care as well as neuromodulation services such as ECT, TMS and Esketamine. She supports system efforts to improve access to behavioral health care and strengthen collaboration with primary care. Dr. Scully began her training with Family Medicine internship while service in the US Navy as a medical officer for 11 years, including 3 years a General Medical Officer with the Marines before completing psychiatry residency in 2017. Her clinical and leadership experience spans outpatient, inpatient, and consult-liaison psychiatry. She has served in multiple leadership roles in operational, outpatient and acute psychiatry. She joined Inova in September 2021.
