Caroline Ba, PsyD, MPP, MPsy
Dr. Caroline Ba is a neuropsychologist and clinical psychologist in acute inpatient rehabilitation. Prior to joining Inova, she worked as a pediatric neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders and acquired injuries. Dr. Ba obtained a master’s degree and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from George Mason University. She is completing postdoctoral training in Clinical Psychopharmacology through New Mexico State University. Dr. Ba completed her APA-accredited internship at Eastern Virginia Medical Center and APPCN-member postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center. Her clinical and research experiences include neurodevelopmental disorders, acquired brain injury, chronic medical conditions, medical/health psychology, cross cultural neuropsychology, and clinical interventions. She is a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA) Minority Fellowship Program and was selected for the APA Leadership Development Program and Psychology Summer Institute for research. Dr. Ba taught at the Washington School of Psychiatry and is an adjunct professor at George Washington University. She is committed to marginalized communities and serves as a disability mentor for the American Psychological Association. She has also held various leadership positions in international professional societies and regional non-profit organizations.
