Dr. Rogo is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she serves as the Program Director of the Fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. A leader in global health education, she co-directs the medical school’s Global Health Scholarly Concentration, established a global health track within the pediatric residency program, and is currently developing a Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship for the University of Rwanda. She is also the Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI.

She completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her medical degree along with a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Tulane University. She then completed her pediatric residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children in Falls Church, VA, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Brown University/Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

An advocate for global child health, her work developing pediatric residency training in Rwanda earned the inaugural Velji Young African Leader Award from the Consortium of Universities for Global Health. Dr. Rogo has also been recognized with the National Medical Association (NMA) Top Doctor Under 40 Award, was named the 2024 NMA Region 1 Physician of the Year, and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Rhode Island Monthly magazine for several years.
