Biography:
Dr. Jennifer Webster, D.O., M.S.H.P., is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and a pediatric gastroenterologist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She did her pediatric residency training at Inova Children's Hospital and her GI fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She specializes in functional gastrointestinal disorders, directing CHOP's Chronic Constipation Program and previously directing the Interdisciplinary Chronic Abdominal Pain Clinic. Her clinical and research interests center on disorders of gut-brain interaction, pediatric constipation, and fecal incontinence, reflected in numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters in Nelson's, and invited lectures at national meetings such as NASPGHAN and Digestive Disease Week. Alongside her clinical work, she holds several quality improvement and safety leadership roles within the Department of Pediatrics, including Co-Lead of the Ambulatory Patient Safety Committee, Co-Lead of the Resident QI Curriculum Committee, Department Liaison to the Ambulatory Specialty Clinics for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, and Department Patient Safety Officer for the Pediatric Subspecialty Care Centers.
